On day two, they visited the Cu Chi Tunnels, a 250km-long network of tunnels used by Viet Cong troops during the Vietnam War to evade aerial bombing. They also went on a calming river tour of the Mekong River Delta, where more than half of Vietnam’s rice and fish comes from. 200 Market in district four provided one of their favourite street food experiences in Ho Chi Minh.

On day three, they explored the Ben Thanh Market, the city’s most well-known market with all sorts of items for sale.
